Agricultural sector is one of the leading branches of economy of Ukraine. Its share in GDP is approximately 10%. Agriculture provides 95% of the population with food, which is one of the highest rates in the world.

According to the UNO, in flow of agricultural production Ukraine ranks third among the world leaders (after Brazil and Russia).
